RESULTS are pleased to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Felix Jakens. Felix is going to be taking on the role of volunteer and grassroots support coordinator so will have a lot of contact with our activists in the coming weeks and months. Felix writes:
Hi everyone, this is Felix on my first day in the RESULTS office! I’m really excited to be working here and I’m really looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. I’d like to thank Aaron and the team for welcoming me so warmly into the RESULTS family.
About me: I’m from Lewes in East Sussex, I studied History and Politics at undergraduate level at the University of the West of England in Bristol and then completed an Msc in International Security at Bristol University.
Since then I have been working for a variety of organisations, Compass, STOP THE TRAFFIK and the New Internationalist, mainly in a campaigns capacity, but I have lots of experience working with volunteers.
I will now be the main point of contact for all our supporters and activists and will be working closely with you all to help us move RESULTS forward. My aim, with your help, is to support the growth and expansions of the RESULTS network, to increase our political impact, and, ultimately create the public and political will to end poverty.
I hope that over the next few weeks and months I get to meet as many of you as possible as we work together to grow our organisation. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to contact me!
Felix can be reached in the office on our regular number, 020 7499 8238, as well as on email at firstname.lastname@example.org
