Focus call: the media ‘aid backlash’ and how to respond

On Tuesday 16th November we will be holding our next focus call on the topic of ‘Responding to the aid backlash: how to get your views heard in the media’. The call will look at the recent negative press about the government’s protection of the aid budget from cuts, while imposing large cuts on many other government departments in the Comprehensive Spending Review.

The call will help you to develop the skills needed to make your voice heard in the debate and to ensure the supporters of international development spending are heard in the media. The call will be held from 7-8pm, and an agenda is available here.

RESULTS staff will be joined by Jove Oliver, a communications expert with a long history of working with RESULTS and the ACTION Project. If you would like to join the call please email Petrian by Monday 15 November.
