Fundraisers Get on their Bikes for RESULTS

This weekend, keen cyclists Becky and Graham from Banbury took part in the first ever Just Bike challenge to raise funds for RESULTS.

Becky still smiling at the end of a 100km bike ride!Becky said: “RESULTS do alot of great work to fight poverty, hunger and disease in the developing world. I understand that we are all feeling the pinch of the recession at the moment… but the people who are helped by organisations such as RESULTS are in comparatively desperate situations. They have little or no access to some of the fundamental human rights that we all take for granted. We don’t really have to do very much to improve their situation, just get involved with, or donate to RESULTS.”

Becky and Graham rode 100km (62 miles) through stunning Wiltshire  scenery over extremely challenging terrain. They completed the route  in an amazing six hours and raised over £1,260 for RESULTS. Thank you so much to you both – we hope your legs recover quickly!

If you would like to take part in the next annual Just Walk challenge on Saturday 15 May please contact the RESULTS office. If you have other fundraising ideas then we’d also love to hear them!
