RESULTS supports launch of new XDR-TB photography campaign

Celebrated and influential US photojournalist James Nachtwey is unveiling a series of new images to create awareness and help combat a new and critical threat to global health with a number of large-scale public projections around the world this October.

Nachtwey believes that Extreme Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (XDR-TB) could become a devastating pandemic in various parts of the world and with the support of the TED conference and other partners including RESULTS he is breaking a series of these haunting images as a multimedia projection on the fly tower of the National Theatre in London on 3 and 4 October.

Choosing to document XDR-TB – a severe and underreported health crisis occurring globally, Nachtwey will unveil the images via seven continents and in 50 cities across the world in an aim to unleash the full and powerful impact of the internet and media to create support for organisations working to address and transform the situation.
